In 1981 I was an Intern News Photographer at KXLY TV in Spokane, Washington. Growing up in Coeur d' Alene Idaho I was a Seahawk fan from the beginning and Jim Zorn was my favorite QB...also on the roster was back up QB Sam Atkins and 2nd year pro QB Dave Krieg...This was Kenny Easleys rookie year after being select 4th overall in the 1981 draft, 4 spots ahead of Ronnie Lott.
In 1984, Naomi Uemura perished after becoming the first person to reach the summit alone in the winter. Here is a segment produced by Mark O'Brien for Alaska's People, an award winning statewide television show produced by KIMO-TV, Anchorage, Alaska in the 1980's.
