Lake Hood is a very busy airport for private planes in Alaska. But it's not your typical airport -- it's a small lake! In winter, floats are replaced by skis.
Float planes in the Parry Sound Harbor. Georgian Bay Airways aircraft use those waters as their runway. Private airplanes land here to fill up on gas. The Georgian Bay airplanes are: Cessna 180 and a Found Brothers FBA-2C1.
