Part two of our tour of the USS Missouri, BB-63, the "Big Mo."
The battleship is moored at Pearl Harbor, and while shooting, we got additional footage of modern day warships at Pearl.

On a 2001 cruise to Alaska, part of the fun was ports of call in Ketchikan, Juneau, Haines, Skagway, Seward and Anchorage.
This is a mini-travalog of sites from each city and town.

Ok, we're briefed and ready for takeoff. Now we lower the canopy, taxi out onto the active and roll down the runway.
I know, the music is cheesy, but get a sense now of what it's like to pull straight up at 450 knots.

Some final clips from my flight. We flew in and out of a lot of cloud formations in this part and you get a real sense of the speed we were flying.
When you're lucky enough to be asked to have this opportunity, you only get to do it once in your life.
Thanks again to the USAF Thunderbirds Aerial Demonstration Team and Captain Burt Nelson.

While our cruise ship (Sea Princess) stopped in Skagway, we took a water taxi down to Haines, then a short bus trip for a rafting trip.
No whitewater stuff, just a mellow trip and again, simply awesome scenery.

The first time we saw whales was in Hawaii. They were off in the distance.
Alaska on the other hand, was complete different!
Spectacular sitings, and close!

One of the great excursions when your cruise takes you to Skagway, is a trip on the White Pass Railroad. Awesome scenery, and a relaxing three-hour tour.
Highly recommend!

The 2007 Youth of the Year Award Dinner presented by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver was another huge success with some 750 attendees honoring Champion of Youth Pat Hamill and Youth of the Year winner Alexandria Batiste.
And it was Club members themselves who provided some fun and spirited entertainment.
We spent July 4th weekend in Destin, Florida. We rented a very cool condo and the complex had a great pool with a rafting area called Lazy River.
Needless to say, Morgan loved it!
We're lucky enough to have a 2nd home in Westcliffe CO. Located west of Pueblo it's a compbination of Maryberry NC (The Andy Griffith Show) and Cicely Alaska. (Northern Exposure) With a little Vail thrown in. For us, it's heaven. And the Sangre de Cristo mountains are simply magnificent. Please enjoy this video postcard.

Alaska is all about glaciers. Mendenhall Glacier offers lots of opportunities to see it up close and personal.
I took a trip aboard an ERA Helicopter to the glacier and got some terrific footage above, and on, the glacier. Additional footage from Glacier Bay which is spectacular and frosty College Fjord.
