John Bolton says that if middle easterners want to take control of their own oil that they should just go ahead and do it. Bolton claims that westerners are needed to extract the oil from Iraq because people in the middle east don't know how to do it.

Michael F. Scheuer is a 22-year CIA veteran. He served as the Chief of the Bin Laden Issue Station (aka "Alec Station"),from 1996 to 1999, the Osama bin Laden tracking unit at the Counterterrorist Center. He then worked again as Special Advisor to the Chief of the bin Laden unit from September 2001 to November 2004. Scheuer resigned from the CIA in 2004.
